Which watermarks can I remove?
Automatic mode looks for visible marks supported by remove-ai-watermarks, including Gemini and several other AI image tools. Detection is not guaranteed on every image. If a mark is missed, use Select area to repair a small region.
Will the image look exactly the same?
The selected pixels are reconstructed from their surroundings. Small marks on simple backgrounds work best; texture and large selections can look soft. Your dimensions and transparency are preserved. Export is an 8-bit PNG without the original EXIF or provenance metadata; an existing color profile is kept.
What happens to my uploaded image?
Your image is sent to this server for processing. Temporary working files are deleted when the request finishes, fails or times out. This tool has no image gallery, accounts or analytics. Images are limited to 15 MB and 16 megapixels.
Does this remove invisible watermarks?
This version repairs visible marks only. It does not test or remove invisible pixel watermarks such as SynthID, and does not certify an image as human-made. “No known mark found” is a detection result, not proof that an image has no watermark.
Which images should I use?
Use images you own or have permission to edit, and follow the source platform’s terms. Check your result carefully before publishing. This is an independent project and is not affiliated with the image generators it supports.
